Your TV is no longer connected to the internet, repeatedly

this comes up every 15-30 mins

 

all other devices are fine, just the TV. any ideas?

Try clearing the cached data (under Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data) then restart the TV by holding power.

Thank you Joe. The latest version of firmware seems to have fixed the issue. However I had already set it to static ip on both the tv and assigned it permanently on my router so I’m not sure if both were needed. Maybe the cache clear will also help others tho so thank you for that. I don’t like the new firmware interface though as it has removed some shortcuts and green button ‘go to beginning’ for BBC and ITV now! Grrr! :slight_smile:

There's been a new software update released yesterday for some models (maybe including yours?)

 

Have you tried updating to it? Maybe it'll fix those shortcuts you mentioned.

@jgriffin14369 Yours is currently up to date, so it's not one of the models I saw updated a few days ago (it was 6.5xxx don't remember the number exactly).
